I love exploring new restaurants and have a number of favorite places ranging from hole-in-the-wall diners to the Michelin three-starred crème de la crème, and everything in between. Craft cocktails are my drink of choice when going out and luckily we’re living in a golden age of mixology. Know any good speakeasies? I’m a sucker for a bar with a password.
Instead of spending all of our time in a hotel room, let’s explore all the city has to offer or you can show me something in your town. As for the arts, I’m a life-long dancer and ballet lover, so attending the City Ballet or the Met Opera is always a thrill. Broadway shows are the great American art form and I go as often as possible. The jazzy musicals and comedies are my favorites.
Let’s laugh together at the Comedy Cellar. I love the magic of live performance and theater. Or, let’s spend an afternoon at the Met Museum— I’ll show you my favorite wing if you show me yours. Are you a movie buff? We could see an arthouse film at the Metrograph or the latest blockbuster at the Alamo Drafthouse. If you’re a music fan, we could catch a jazz legend’s set at Dizzy’s Club.
Take me somewhere we’ve never been before, so that we can marvel together at the newness, or take me to a favorite haunt so that I can see it fresh through your eyes.
